Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandemic

Update 23 September 2020

From all of the team at Avenue Neighbourhood House at Eley, we’re sending our best wishes to our community during this challenging time.

Following the latest public health directions from the Victorian Government, Avenue Neighbourhood House will be temporarily closed to the public from Thursday 9 July, 2020.

We are grateful for the loyalty and understanding of the Avenue Neighbourhood House Community and hope to welcome you back soon.

COVID-19 Code of Conduct

To ensure a safe environment at Avenue Neighbourhood House, anyone entering the house must read and abide by the COVID-19 Code of Conduct terms and conditions. Please click here for the Code of Conduct.

Childcare will fully reopen from Monday 28th September under the second step of the reopening roadmap from Metro Melbourne.  This will remain the case unless we are instructed to close by the Victorian Government.

Education (accredited and pre-accredited)

In response to the coronavirus restrictions, Avenue Neighbourhood House has transitioned most of our courses to remote and flexible learning. For the majority of students, our current remote learning delivery mode will remain in place for Term 4.

Remote and flexible learning enables students to continue their study and training from home. Avenue Neighbourhood House will be doing this in a few ways:

  • Using online tools for classes and assessments
  • Using hard-copy materials sent out via post
  • Using email, phone and zoom for communicating between teachers and students.

We look forward to reopening and seeing you at the House again soon, stay safe!

Avenue Neighbourhood House (RTO 20213) offers a range of education and learning opportunities. As a registered training organisation we offer nationally accredited courses, as well as social and hobby courses to cater for a range of interests.
