Last year’s inaugural Art Competition, themed – ‘This is Me’, was a huge success, we have decided to run it again! With over 60 entries last year, this year will be bigger and better with more artworks and more prize money to be won. Is this the year you realise your artistic potential and showcase your talent in our show?

This year’s theme is – This is my Happy Place.
Entries are now open and will close on Wednesday 26th June.
We will showcase the amazing talent of our artists at the Box Hill Community Arts Centre Tuesday 9th July – Sunday 28th July 2024 with the exhibition open for viewing during this time.
Entry fee is $10 and the canvas is provided. You must complete the artwork on the canvas provided. You may use any medium (oil paint, watercolour paint, acrylic, mixed media, 3D, collage etc). Canvas orientation can be portrait style or landscape. You will receive the canvas upon returning this form and payment to the office at 87 Eley Rd, Blackburn South between 9am and 4pm.
The winner will be announced on Sunday 28th July (event invite to follow). People will vote after viewing and the winners will be people’s choice awards. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to be won.
To help us with the planning and setting up, we are asking you to please have your artwork handed into the office (87 Eley Rd, Blackburn South, 9am to 4pm) by COB Wednesday 26th June.
